Lynk Builders
Builder terms
What you agree to as a Lynk Builder, building for businesses on Lynk. Version of 1 November 2026.
You work for yourself
- You're an independent builder, not Lynk's employee. You agree your price and work with each business yourself.
- You charge your clients through your own Lynk business; Lynk takes only the usual Lynk Pay fee.
The owner decides
- You build in a business you add for its owner, or one whose owner says yes to you, and you leave when they ask.
- When you set a business up for its owner, you may set up its payments, its payout account and the owner's ID check with the owner's own documents, in the owner's name. Payouts go only to an account in the owner's or the business's name.
- Then you hand it over. From then on you never spend the owner's money, see or change where they get paid, take money out, delete their business, change its owner or roles, or take their customer lists.
Look after their customers
- What you see in a business (its customers, sales and messages) is theirs. You use it only to build for them, and never share or copy it.
- You don't message a business's customers yourself unless the owner asked you to.
Do what you're paid for
- You don't take a deposit and not deliver. If you can't finish a job, you tell the owner and give back what you didn't earn.
- What you put live is true to the business: its real name, prices and contacts, never another business's.
What Lynk gives you
- A share of what each business you bring spends on Lynk, every month for its first 12 months, added to your Lynk balance: 10% (20% once you're a Certified Lynk Builder, from the month you're certified). Lynk can change these percentages for the months ahead.
- Your certificates, your builder page, and (once certified) leads from Lynk.
If something goes wrong
- Lynk can pause your builder account while it looks into a complaint, which takes you out of every business at once.
- Every action you take in a business is written down where its owner can see it.
