3.1 Automations and rules
Grow → Automations is everything Lynk does by itself, each with a switch. The five that grow a business:
| Automation | What it does |
|---|---|
| Thank new enquiries straight away | A thank-you within minutes, even at night |
| Follow up enquiries that went quiet | Checks in once after a few quiet days |
| Bring back past customers | A friendly message to come back, only to those who agreed |
| Wish customers a happy birthday | On the day, only to those who agreed |
| Ask customers for a review | A thank-you with the review link after a visit or order |
Messages use the business's SMS or email allowance. For reviews, use the Google review link from the business's Google profile (Course 3).
Grow → Rules are the business's own when this happens, do that: text the customer, tell someone on the team, or make a task, when a booking is made, a sale or payment comes in, a parcel moves, stock runs low and more. Easiest by chat: When a booking is over GH₵1,000, tell me.
