← Introduction to Lynk

Lesson 10 of 11 · Learn · 8 min

2.4 Your first real client, and what's next

Adding a real business. Once Lynk approves your ID check and two-step sign-in is on, open Businesses → Add a business in your Builder area. Sit with the owner and fill in The business, The owner's name, Their phone and Their email. Lynk texts and emails the owner a code. Type The owner's code and A temporary password for them, which they change when they first sign in. If the owner already has a Lynk account, you're added to their business straight away.

Not with the owner? Use Ask an owner who isn't with you, or give them your email so they add you from their Team page.

The business is always the owner's: their login, their money, their customers. They see you on their Team page and can remove you any time.

What your tailor's app can't do yet. Look at Ama's Stitches. It runs, but:

It can't yet…You'll learn it in
Fit how a shop, salon, clinic or courier really worksCourse 1: Business apps
Take MoMo and card, or show the owner their profitCourse 2: Get paid
Be found on Google, or take bookings and orders onlineCourse 3: Get found online
Bring customers backCourse 4: Bring customers back
Run on its own server, or connect to other appsCourse 5: Servers and APIs

Every one of those is something a business owner will pay you for.
