Lesson 11 of 16 · Learn · 10 min

3.1 The handover session

Before: book two hours at a quiet time; everyone brings their own phone; print the routine (Course 2, item 3.3).

Hour 1: the owner does it, you watch

  • ☐ Signs in with two-step sign-in
  • ☐ Makes a sale or booking, or takes in a job
  • ☐ Moves work to its next step / finishes a booking with payment
  • ☐ Records an expense (by chat)
  • ☐ Closes the day
  • ☐ Asks Lynk AI: How were sales this week?
  • ☐ Knows where Lynk Pay payouts go, and how to see transactions
  • ☐ Knows the website is theirs, and how to ask Lynk AI to change it

Hour 2: the team

  • ☐ Each worker signs in with their own login and role
  • ☐ Each does their daily task (till, calendar, jobs, deliveries)
  • ☐ Each knows what they can't see, and why

Leave with them

  • ☐ The daily, weekly and monthly routine
  • ☐ A one-page how we use Lynk for staff
  • ☐ Your check-in dates (after week 1, 2 and 4)
  • ☐ Your number, and your monthly plan offer (item 3.6)

Ownership

  • ☐ Everything is in the owner's account; domain and payouts are the business's
  • ☐ You click Hand over when done (unless they keep you as their monthly builder); the owner can then review you from their Team page

Sign-off: a short message from the owner: I've been shown how to use it, and the business is mine.
